At xbase, we are always looking for ways to enhance your experience and make managing your X bookmarks more seamless and efficient. After evaluating the best way to deliver our services, we learned there are several advantages in this transition to a Web Application, here are some of them:

1. No longer platform dependent
   • Web Application: Access xbase on any browser
   • Chrome Extension: Limited to Chromium based browsers

2. Better distribution
   • Web Application: Access xbase directly through a url (xbase.so/app)
   • Chrome Extension: Requires installation on a Chromium based browser and discovery is limited to the Chrome Web Store

3. Scalability
   • Web Application: Easier to add new features, integrations, and better performance
   • Chrome Extension: Limited capabilities depending on the extension framework
